Introduce Myself

"For your first entry I would like you to introduce
yourself to the class: who are you, why are you
taking this online course, and what your expectations
and anxieties are for the class"

Okay, My name is Jack Thomas, I am a Management and Marketing major at Mercer University and will be finishing up in May 2011.

I am taking this online course to finish up my Gen Ed requirements and taking it online so I will be able to work at Panera Bread full time during the day without the worry about class time.

I expect to read a lot of excerpts from Romantic to Modern era authors and hopefully not interpret and analyze them incorrectly. I expect to come out of this class with a better understand of an English course and maybe make it a better experience than high school.

The reason why I have put this class off till my senior year is because I am afraid of English classes but I will give it my best effort and not fall behind in the reading, one of my biggest anxieties for this class.

Well, that is who I am and why I am here.
